At the recent AGM it was agreed to keep the 2013/14 subs the same as last year, so:

  • Full adult playing: £180
  • Midweek, full playing junior, student, OAP, living more than 7 miles from the club: £90
  • Runner: £30
  • Social: £10

The subs are due on 1 April. You can give a cheque or cash to any committee member or team captain. You can also pay with three cheques dated 1 April, 1 May, 1 June if cashflow is a problem, but only if you get the cheques to us by 1 April. If you can’t get down to the club in the next few weeks you can post the cheque to the treasurer – please reply to this email or direct to me on lizsomerville@hotmail.com and I’ll give you the address to send it to.

Few more finance related things from the AGM. Firstly, we’re not taking enough for the lights to cover their running costs. At the moment we are charging £1 for 20 minutes (ie £3 per hour) or £2 per person when lights are used at club play. This is increasing to £5 for one hour and £3 at club play. Secondly, if members want to buy new balls we are increasing this from £4 a tin to £5. And lastly, we are introducing a voluntary 50p donation for cake and tea on Sundays.
